Publications
Members fees cover subscription for all SA Pecan Newsletters (quarterly), pecan leaflets, businesslike information concerning the SAPPA eg, district representatives, nursery lists, constitution, nut grading. SA Pecan contains information about future regional meetings, symposiums, annual meetings, news items of interest, short research articles from around the world, advertisements and general information concerning pecan nuts.
Happenings
Regional meetings - are held annually in all regions: with guest speakers and elections of regional representatives. Regions decide whether registration fees should be paid.
Annual meetings - once a year: general business concerning the pecan industry are discussed. Members attend for free.
Symposiums - every second year: Specific topics are discussed, research results are submitted, poster readings are presented and sponsors display their products.
